What Is the Play for AJ Showcase?
The Play for AJ Basketball Showcase is a one-day competitive event created to honor the legacy of A’Dontis “AJ” Flournoy. The showcase provides athletes the opportunity to compete, gain exposure, and be part of something bigger than the game.
Who Can Participate?
This event is open to middle school boys and girls, as well as 9th - to 11th-grade girls. Each athlete will compete in high-level skill development drills with former collegiate players and a showcase game against some of the top players in their age group, providing an opportunity to display their skills in a competitive environment and be evaluated to support recruiting exposure.
Event Details
The cost to participate is $35, honoring AJ’s legacy and the age at which he passed. Roster spots are limited to ensure a competitive and high-quality experience for all participants. All games will be played on June 13. Final schedules and event details will be shared via email and updated on the website.
Athletes will take part in high-level skill development drills, be evaluated by former college players, and compete in a live showcase game to demonstrate why they are among the best in the Coastal region.
An MVP and Best Sportsmanship award will be given during each game.

WHAT IF I HAVE MORE THAN ONE CHILD WHO WANTS TO PARTICIPATE?
As long as your children meet the requirements, they are welcome to join. Each child will need to register separately to ensure they are in the right age group and receive a jersey.
